Had a fab stay here. The location is awesome and facilities great too.
Brilliant experience better than I expected everything provided cream tea on arrival and breakfast in the morning wonderful surroundings and friendly people
Taken me a good few weeks to write this review and it's been posting on my mind that I hadn't, that's how much I feel I owe it to Ami and Mark who were awesome. I'd book it as a surpise but would definitely go back in my couple or book one of the larger spaces. The only slight concern people might have as if their vehicle is wide and they're a bit precious about bushes brushing the paintwork as they drive down the country lane to the venue (we caught a taxi from the station and the driver preferred is to walk the last couple of minutes). We stayed in Pamela which is at the top of the field and is a cute little hut with attention to detail in the decor and really warm and cosy. I'd booked the pizza experience and, although we ruined the pizzas because the pizza oven got too hot, it was fun. Some might see it as a waste of money for that reason as collectively the ingredients would come in for less than we paid but I didn't mind really, I just wouldn't do that but again and instead order in. Do buy the local cider from their on-site shop though as it's super tasty and super cheap in comparison to London prices (although what isn't!).Having a fire pit to sit around while toasting marshmallows is also a lovely idea, with a bag of wood provided to burn through the evening. The shower rooms are great too, with instant hot water and a big roomy wet room. I think my favourite bit was probably the breakfast the next morning; it's probably easier if you use two of the camping rings but that would be tricky if everyone on site is cooking at once. The quality of the ingredients was amazing and I'm salivating just thinking of the quality of the smoked bacon and sausages. Even the eggs were amazing in their colour and taste. My only regret was that because it's so popular I could only get the Friday night as I would've loved to have stayed there on Saturday Eve too. Fortunately Leeds Castle is just up the road so that eased the pain as we spent the day walking around there (side note, tickets are valid for 12mths with unlimited entry unless they have special events on). It's now 0:56am - that's how much my lack of a positive review has been playing on my mind! Thanks again, Ami and Mark!
Absolutely amazing place, great amenities, lovely clean site. Fab for kids and adults alike.
Went over a year ago, late review. However this is when the company seemed to be still very new. Shower facilities great, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We rented the large bell tent and the safari tent. Although smaller site, there were some indoor areas in case of rain. Facilities for fire, BBQ etc all great.
