Beautiful park with a huge outside play area which my one year old loves. A couple of nice routes to walk around. Cafe food is very good and reasonable but the toilets are horrible and need a deep clean.
Visited on a cold, damp day in January with my friend, her little granddaughter and two dogs. It was clean and well maintained and the cafe staff were cheerful and helpful and gave us cardboard to put on the wet seats outside so that we could sit and enjoy a coffee. Would definitely visit again.

A nice park with visitor centre / cafe and toilet facilities. Plenty of stuff for little ones to play on and some nice grounds to wander about in (if you go, you'll discover it once used to be a zoo!) Its not a massive park so if you are going taking a leisurely stroll ;-)Parking is 1.50 although I would imagine on a really good day this would be packed...!
Beautiful grounds to walk around in with young children as well as dogs or riding a horse. A lovely tea room and toilets. Play area for children is lovely and There's are other slides and sea saws when you walk around. It costs 1.50 to park your car there all day till closing time.It's nice if you just want some where to walk and sit after and have a coffee tea or cool drink. Very clean and well maintained.
