Tried a takeaway from here for the first time. Friday night, arrived in a timely manner .Ordered a bhuna described as a medium which it was and very flavourful with just the right kick. Rice was spot on my other half had the balti which he said was lovely. Will definitely use again
WOW.... What an amzing experience it had been. Five of us, all from different backgrounds (University lecturer, Civil servant, Lawer, Management Consultant ans an Air force officer) went to this place last week. From elegant interior design, ever welcoming staff to flawless taste of different dishes exceeded all our expectations. Some of the traditional Nepalese food were just mouth watering. Panning to visit again next week. I can go on and on but to cut the story short, it was simply awesome.
We visit here at least twice a month. The food is excellent with plenty of unusual dishes that taste so fresh. Great vegetarian and vegan options and wonderful staff!
Excellent meal, best Asian food I have had on ages. Very tasty & lots of things on the menu I haven't seen before. Very attentive, polite & friendly staff. Highly recommend
Wow! We went here for my daughter's birthday yesterday and had a fantastic evening with amazing food and great service. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. They even surprised us with a birthday cake for our daughter which was a lovely touch and really appreciated. For anyone reading old reviews, I think the restaurant might be under new management as the name, interior and menu have changed recently(although, to be fair, we only ever used Tandoori Palace for takeaway a couple of times and we thought the food was lovely). Either way, based on our experience, we couldn't recommend Kathmandu Palace highly enough. What's more, we now have an excellent local takeaway.
