Can be very hit and miss unfortunately. When it's good, great but more often than not it's okay at least. Food usually good, not always hot, service can be slow, tries to be more than it is. Used to be wonderful. Still go because its local.
Tucked away gem.With attentive staff and a relaxed atmosphere I sank back into the leather armchair for my meal. I was not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed each course. This was even better value as it was on the Meerkat meals 2 for 1 app.Will I visit again...........of course using the app I can't go wrong.
Very nice venue however the lunch menu was quite limited. No other options were offered.Although we were having the set lunch, an Xmas gift, no wine list was on view or offered either, a bit odd in my experience.The starter was fine ,however the main, slow cooked blade of beef, was tender well portioned, but bland. Served with an indistinguishable mash creamed beyond recognition it was filling, but not memorable.The service was good but lacklustre.Perhaps better in the evening?Sadly I am not sure I would bother to test the theory.
Absolutely love eating here. I've been time and time again. Fantastic service every time, nothing is too much trouble. The food is varied and of a high quality. From intimate couple dinners to family get togethers, it's one of my favourites. The cocktails are very good too! X
Very easy to book, friendly helpful. Food very good, fine dining experience for my son's birthday. Nothing too much trouble ( some of our party were a little loud with their language at times) served in appropriate time not rushed. Had great evening, lovely place to go. Thank you for making our evening go well.
